Saturday 5th December children, staff and governors were joined
by Nathan Salem from the Newcastle Vipers Ice Hockey team. The Food for

We
are now part of the Food For Life programme. Through this project our work
in school on the subject of food and sustainability is recognised with an
award. We are also able to take our involvement further, the children will

will hopefully lead to further recognition.

Year
4 parents came into school 4th November to find out more about our exciting
plans for this years field trip.
Shine week
This is a
nationally promoted week where schools showcase all that they do. We took part last year. This year we want to develop it still
further as a response to some Parent Questionnaires requesting more opportunities
to see what we do in school and the pupils’ work. Tuesday, 7th July, 3.00 p.m.
has been earmarked as an opportunity for parents to look at their child’s
work, look at displays, see films made by pupils and explore the grounds
where School Councillors will be acting as guides showing the vegetable
beds etc. Further details will
emerge later this term.
